The Deck
A beautiful, limited edition set of two decks of playing cards based on the extraordinary art project ‘Play with me’ by Italian artist Diego Tolomelli. The concept behind the project was to create a version of each traditional playing card in which the entire LGBTQ community was represented using the medium of stained glass. The original project includes the kings, queens, jacks and aces as well as a joker and two glass panels of the reverse side of the blue and red cards. Non-picture cards have been added to create full decks of playing cards.
The Creator
Diego Tolomelli is an Italian stained-glass artist whose work on erotic stained-glass began drawing critical attention back in 2007. As well as creating erotic stained-glass works of art, Diego Tolomelli also owns and operates IKOSTUDIO.
